Feeling low and really needing some encouragement today. Had 38 follicles, only 14 eggs retrieved. 11 matured & fertilised (a good result), but only 6 at the expected (at least 6-cell) at day 3; the others all slow or poor quality. Waiting two more days to see if any make it to blast, but feeling really, really pessimistic in knowing that approximately only 30-50% of those 6 might make it, from what I've read so far. Had three pregnancy losses in the last year and honestly starting to lose hope. Can someone please suggest something I can do for the next two days to keep my mind off things? X

Hi ladies,

Really looking for some reassurance/advice here as I'm aware I'm probably (definitely) overanalysing. My egg retrieval is tomorrow and I took the trigger at the right time. In the days leading up to trigger I had really strong symptoms of stims -- super bloating to the point of painful when walking, super sleepy, backache, mucus etc. However, over the last two days (day of trigger and today) my symptoms have just totally disappeared -- bloating gone, no pain, no fatigue, no need to urinate, like totally normal. I'm really frightened that I might have ovulated early or something, given the disappearance of symptoms. I didn't miss any of my suppression injections.

Has anyone else had this happen before, and did it turn it okay? I'm mega freaking out that I get put under sedation only to find nothing there (I had a really beautiful batch of follicles and will be SO gutted to lose them!).

Thanks x
