PLDT never disconnected our internet even after 5 months 😂
We requested disconnection/cancellation of our PLDT fiber line months ago because we switched to another ISP.
The funny part? The internet never got disconnected.
It has been around 5 months already and the connection is STILL working normally. Speeds are normal, no interruptions, and the LOS light never turned red.
Here’s the catch though:
we actually never returned the modem/router yet. After the cancellation request, nobody followed up for pickup and we honestly forgot about it too.
What’s weird is:
no new billing notices
no calls/texts
account supposedly disconnected already
but the fiber connection still works perfectly
At first we thought maybe delayed cutoff lang for a few days, but now it’s literally been months 😂
Has anyone else experienced this with PLDT?
Do they sometimes forget to deactivate the line physically from the box/port? And is there a chance they suddenly charge everything retroactively one day?
Not complaining obviously, just genuinely confused how this even happens with a major ISP.
