Hi everyone,
I’m a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. I’m currently exploring future research directions in neuromodulation, neural engineering, brain stimulation, and closed-loop stimulation systems.
I recently came across the CRANIA NeuroModulation Institute (CNMI) at U of T and found its connection between neuroscience, engineering, and clinical applications very interesting. Since my background is mainly in neuroscience/psychology rather than engineering, I’d love to connect with current or former students, trainees, or anyone familiar with CNMI/CRANIA or neuromodulation-related labs at U of T.
I’m hoping to ask a few questions about research opportunities, trainee programs, useful skills to build, and how to prepare for volunteer/RA/thesis positions in this area.
If anyone would be open to a short chat or could share some advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
