So i researched a lot and ended up with these 2 options
Need help choosing between Philips 2-in-1 Airstyler (BHA531/10) and Winston 3-in-1 blow brush.
My hair:
- Thick, dense, low porosity, ~2C
- Slightly frizzy but holds styles REALLY well
Past experience:
- Salon blow dry lasted ~2 weeks
- Straightened hair lasted ~5 days (even 2–4 days after washing)
So I think my hair is hard to style but holds once set.
What I want:
- Smooth, shiny blowout (not pin straight)
- Lasts 3–5+ days
- Okay using tool 1–2x/week
Confused because:
- Philips = gentler, less damage
- Winston = stronger, more “salon-like”
Question:
For hair like mine, is it better to go for a gentle tool (Philips) or a stronger one (Winston) to properly set the hair?
Which one actually gives longer-lasting, smoother results?
Would really appreciate real experiences 🙏
