In the oral exams, do they expect you to know which offence corresponds to the statute e.g would they say explain the elements of s2 of the fraud act or will they instead say, please explain whether the elements of a s2 fraud by false representation has been established ?
If you are told that you are appearing in the crown court, do you assume it’s a crown court judge and address them as your honour?
Questioning this as sometimes district judges sit in the crown court so would they still be addressed as judge?
For people who have sat the SQE2 orals so far how has your experience been with the clients?
I have my sitting on Thursday & Friday and I’m nervous about the interview in case I have a client who gives one word answers and I run out of questions to ask.
Any tactics or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
I apologise for the odd question but I had intended to shake the actors hand otherwise I feel a bit awkward just walking in and sitting down but I saw someone post on here that an actor refused their handshake and told them to sit down which understandably would throw you off slightly!

When taking quotes from the legal research documents, do we need to put quotes around them or is it ok if we rephrase slightly?
