I still love invading in this game. I know lots of people complain. When you understand the limitations beyond the devs control at this stage it is a fun and a simple system compared to its souls peers.

Several years and over ten playthroughs later I still collect hands from invaders and the invaded alike for a few hours a week under dark_crusading or Paladin Lucien by the windmill. If I invade polite noobs then I challenge them, take them to umbral, bow and leave.

My question is after a short break is have they nerfed the hyper armour on the queens hammer? It used to be my go to for invading gank squads mainly. You can one shot with the right build and a well timed special and give yourself a chance. Now I get staggered out of the swing animation almost every time despite having the same poise status I always have? Gank squads are once again a guaranteed death sentence if they have set up for PvP and receiving invaders.

Second question is has there been any talk around PvP in 2026? I’ve listened to all the lifting the veil podcasts and stayed pretty active on here but may have missed it?
