Hello! I'm looking for some recommendations for historical fiction specifically about the civil war. I've been reading "The Killer Angels" lately and have really been enjoying that one, and I know Jeff Shaara has written a couple of other books that go along with it (though I know the movie for "Gods and Generals" is pretty heavy on the lost cause rhetoric, so I don't know if the book is like that too, and I'm not really into that in particular).

If any one has any recommendations for this period, I would be super grateful, and I'm open to pretty much any recommendations so long as it isn't outright glazing the confederacy for the entire book lol. Thank you!
