The infamous 2026 FIFA World Cup song, “Lighter” by Jelly Roll and Carín León, has been heavily criticized due to its lack of vibe and energy compared to songs from previous FIFA World Cups. It has even been compared to a soundtrack for a car TV commercial.

So, this song in The Loud House context, fits Lana Loud and her tomboy personality more, and less Lynn Loud Jr. and her sporty personality.

We know that Lucy Loud is a girl known for being gothic, spooky, monotone, and gloomy, with the ability to scare people through her unexpected appearances. She even says the word “sigh” instead of actually sighing. She usually dislikes anything funny, especially Luan Loud’s jokes.

But what if Lucy suddenly started behaving like Luan? I don’t mean Luan disguising herself as Lucy,

I mean Lucy herself acting that way: dressed like a clown, constantly telling jokes, using a rubber chicken, laughing loudly, writing nonsensical horror poems (for example: A vampire turning himself into a chimpanzee dressed as a sailor instead of a bat) and so on.

It would be completely out of character, and it has never happened in any episode of The Loud House.

Still, it would be hilarious: a gothic girl acting in such a playful, comedic way, similar to Luan.

It would still be a “sigh,” but this time, a sigh of laughter.

I laugh so much just imagining Lucy acting like that.

And not for no reason, maybe one of Lisa Loud’s inventions could cause Lucy to develop this unusual, Luan-like behavior, turning her into a funny, joke, loving gothic girl, at least temporarily.

Luan would be happy and proud of Lucy, since she’d finally have a partner for jokes and pranks.

And then she’d probably feel disappointed when Lucy returns to her usual gothic, humorless self.

Lucy the clown? That would be hilarious!

It reminds me of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode “Breath of Fresh Squidward,” where Squidward Tentacles becomes friendly toward SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, which is out of character, since he’s usually grumpy, bitter, and openly resentful of them.
