Repetitive sounds in unreal engine 5

One thing working on a roguelite taught me is that repetition sneaks up on you and kills immersion. The player hears the same sounds hundreds of times per session, and if you're not designing with variation in mind from the start then it shows.

I put together a breakdown of how I approached this using MetaSounds and the Soundscape plugin, covering two ambient spaces that each needed a completely different solution.

Still fairly early in my game audio journey and curious how others have tackled this, especially if you've used native UE5 tools over middleware.
