Metzeler cruisetec trash?

I have a set of Metzeler Cruisetec tires on my '99 1500 as they are they tires that were on the bike when I bought it and they looked almost new (I was told they were about two years old but it sat in a garage). Didn't notice any flat spots and it feels pretty smooth except when im cornering at a cruising speed, I start to feel a shimmy. At higher speeds and more aggressive lean angle I dont feel it so much. After doing some research, it seems to be common with these tires. Im doing my best to include a picture but its not significant enough yet that it really stands out unless youre looking at the right angle. My question is, is this just due to the tires being trash or does it look like something suspension related? I dont feel play in anything. My rear shocks are worn and will need to be replaced soon but im not sure how much that has an effect on tire stepping. Also would i be okay to ride on this for another month or two(unfortunately my vulcan is my daily right now)?

I am running higher psi as recommended for these tires, 36psi front and 40 rear. I weigh about 190lbs.

I have a 1999 1500 Classic with 67k miles. Recently I've noticed oil pooling just behind the rear head at the bottom. Its not enough to notice a loss of oil in the peep hole and it never drips on the ground ( probably getting blown off during riding). The top of the head is slightly wet near the exhaust, maybe leaking from that plug on top of the head but I dont see any oil coming out of the plug when its running but it is definitely wet to the touch. I also check the two oil lines that attach right behind the head but they were tight and the crush ring was replaced last time they were off.

Anyone have any ideas where this might be coming from before I have to tear into it?

Thanks!
