2 years into playing bass, and really enjoying it, current set up is Fender Player PBass or Gretsch Jet Shortscale (great little bass) into BOSS TU-3, then HX Stomp, and an unconnected Behringer BDI 21. Amps I have a Fender Rumble 350 (with a rattle that needs to be fixed) or a Mark Bass CMB 150.

I rarely look at the HX Stomp but intend spending an evening removing all of the unused patches, and setting up a few that I will really use, however I'm questioning if its even needed?

Anyone else play blues rock covers etc, from Creedence, to BB King maybe into as heavy as ACDC? What does your effects chain look like? Do I even need effects pedals? Tuner-Comp-Drive with my limited knowledge would do it all?
