I’m realllly struggling with getting my 8 month old to settle in the cot. She’s done a few nights over the last few weeks in the cot all night but mainly will not stop intense crying unless next to me in the bed. Even then she’s waking every 2 hours.

I don’t want to sleep train with cry it out - I was trying a gentle approach (chair method) which we seemed to get some sort of results with last week but all of a sudden she absolutely refuses. And it’s not normal level crying - it’s intense, can’t breathe, high pitched etc. Will not calm down unless on the boob in the bed.

Our current wake windows are 3/3.5/4 and she is on 2 naps. I am for a 7am - 7/730pm day
