What’s the age that a girl will be considered old or dismissed as a wife potential for Egyptian men?
For context, I am 29.5 years old and I have a few friends that are single as well. My brother is 32 and single, and whenever I try to set him up with a friend of mine of the same age as me, he says no as he considers her too old for him. Which got me thinking, do all men his age think like that? When I think of a potential partner I would usually imagine him to be 30 to 35 years old, but if men in that age group are looking for wives within the 24-26 age range then I am screwed. It’s not like I am single by choice, I had a 3 year engagement that ended badly and took a few years for me to get over it, and once I felt like I am ready to picture my life with a new man, I ended up getting zero proposals. Am I considered 3anes ? Are my only options as my mom like to remind me, divorced men in their late 30’s?
