This was my first, full season, beer league ever and we hoisted the cup! This is what I choose to do with my time with the cup.
I remember falling a lot at the start of the season. I remember taking the advice from my teammates and trying to apply that to each game, stacking the skills and knowledge that I've learned. I still fall, I still need to practice skating more, and I still need to practice my handles even more so, but damn, does it feel good to lift the cup.
Skateboarding was my first love. And it still is. But hockey is a damn close second and I love this sport and the teammates and the league that I'm in.
