HAVN HS 420 VGPU Black/White build

Finally got around to moving my personal rig from my old case into this setup.

Kept my solid DDR4 base with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

It definitely wasn't a drop-in upgrade, though.
I really wanted/NEEDED a vertical GPU mount (I've never treated myself to a good looking pc) for that clean look, but I had to break out the angle grinder on the mounting bracket. It was hitting a motherboard header, so I had to cut it down to make everything fit properly.

Also, a heads-up for anyone else doing this: connecting all 11 of these Lian Li fans was absolute wiring hell. Despite that nightmare, the L-Connect software is surprisingly decent for me, not as bad as everyone says.

Regarding the cost of the main chassis components, all in all

Case
Fans
Fanhub
AIO

for 600€ flat

Here are the full specs of the build as it sits now:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
  • RAM: 128GB DDR4 3600 Corsair Vengeance RGB
  • PSU: Lian Li Edge 1300W
  • Fans: 7x 140MM Lian Li Inf Reverse fan, 4x 140MM Lian Li Inf fan
  • AIO: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 420mm
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080 ASUS TUF

Overall, I'm super happy with how it turned out. The temps are great, gpu goes into 0rpm mode on light games, and valorant for some reason. CPU temps did hit thermal throttleing with a be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5, dont get that, ever, the fan spun to like 1600 rpm and didnt cool sufficiently
