Attempted phone thief at 17th and Arch Street at around 5:15 pm today - here's a picture of the perpetrator (if you are the one whose phone was stolen and want a witness, I can testify)

At 17th and Arch, there was a Black guy who tried to steal an Asian guy's cell phone. The Asian guy latched onto the Black guy and held him until others came to help.

The Asian guy did get the phone back, and I ran to get a nearby African American Police Officer who was stationed inside the Wawa at 1707 Arch. The officer held onto the Black guy, and he said he needed the original Asian guy to press charges otherwise he couldn't do anything.

I ran to try to find Asian guy but he may have been fearful and tried to put distance, so I couldn't locate him. The police officer then released the Black guy with a warning.

I'm posting here so others are aware to be wary of this black guy stealing phones or anything else.

I unfortunately couldn't take a long video since a bunch of us rushed to help the Asian guy.

Schuylkill river trail - locations of water fountains and distance apart? (and recs for other non-street traffic areas with fountains?)

I get thirsty/dehydrated very quickly if I run outside, so I usually do the gym for workouts. But I really do like the scenery outside, esp with it becoming nicer.

Does anyone know how far apart the water fountains are on the trail and their locations? When does the first one appear and when does the last one appear?

I can't find the data online. Also any recs for other running places with good water supply but no cars would be appreciated! (is the Delaware River trail any better? I never ran alongside that)

Thanks!

How do you go about deciding what new DVDs to order? What criteria do you use for your library?

I have a large budget, but I also know that even things with really bad reviews will sometimes circulate because patrons may be interested in a niche or watch a bad movie because it's a bad movie so I'm cuiorus what others think

Edit: remade thread due to typo in the title that I couldn't change

Sometimes, I see "Hot" or "Moderate" or "Average", but I couldn't find where it listed on the site the metrics they use to determine this, so I didn't know how much stock to put into it.

My colleagues said they don't use it at all or barely. How about others?
