My second Rudsta cabinet
It’s done!! My second IKEA Rudsta made into an automated microclimate for Alocasias.
I picked up a used cabinet for VERY cheap thirteen days ago. Yeah, took me almost two weeks to get it online. But today, plants finally moved in.
Grow light is Spider Farmer SF1000D.
Fans are two PC fans I’ve hooked up to ESP32 for pwm control.
Humidifier is next to the cabinet, fed by a tube through the back wall (solution that wasn’t supposed to work, but did, and shockingly well).
Ambient LED is a segment-controlled Aqara, automated for different times of the day.
Temp and humidity sensor gives values I derive target VPD from.
Everything brought together in Home Assistant automations.
I am chuffed!!
