Query regarding Mechanical/Mechatronics at SRM

1)How is Mech, mechatronics branches at SRM-KTR?

2)11th phy always seemed fun to me but Mech is not good carrer option is what i heard, so will Mechatronics be better option from job perspective as im not planning to immediately do masters after btech or should i stick to my intrest Mech(with specialization in robotics)

3)Core placement i know its shit in both but still is there chance of 8-9 Lpa if i grind?(like in top 10-15% of batch)

Should I take Manipal Mechanical ?

So i was thinking of pursuing ece from srm but lot of negative reviews and ece as branch itself will be too tough i feel(for me). I might have fcked up big time in jee but my 11th physics was really strong and it is mostly related to mech so i think I can be good in this(have genuine interest too). But im now worried about placements. Is there like very less chanes of core placement even if i maintain 8-8.5 cgpa consistently?

Should i go for Mech or get into some other bramch?

Should I take SRM ECE ?

I completed my 12th. Fked up in jee. Cet also i don't see much hope. VIT cat 5/Manipal fees seem too high to me. My last option is either SRM or NMIMS(my father wants me to take it). Im really confused currently coz there's not much information about ECE branch of SRM on any subreddits.

plz help if i should go for it or look for some other options
