Driving in California for first time and I’m nervous can I have some insight?
I’ve been to California before, SF, SLO, Morro Bay, but was with other people who drove. I just did a trip in Portland a couple weeks ago and found driving to be stressful in the city area but was fine. I’ve drove through Orlando, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Detroit, and done cross country road trip on the east coast but I’ve just heard such bad things about LA. I’m driving from San Diego to San Pedro to go to Catalina island. Does anyone know how bad that drive is? Will I be hitting a lot of city traffic? Im hesitant but I also really wanna go to Musso and franks after getting back from Catalina and I know that’s right in hollywood. It would be around 7pm on a Friday 🥲. How bad are we talking? Should I just avoid it?! I’m an anxious driver. Safe, no accident history but I still get rather anxious. And like to know what I’m in for ahead of time.
