What Long-Form Game Design Writing Do People Recommend?

As I get further down the rabbit hole of developing the miniatures game I'm working on, I have begun to develop some nebulous thoughts on things that would at the very least benefit me from being able to take some time to apply some structure to. I am entertaining the development of an essay blog/dev blog on substack but am unsure of what subjects actually get read by anyone.

I am mainly interested in tabletop game design, but am open to the writing of any type of designer.

For my entire life, I have had horrible luck wearing clothes out in odd places. For years, the crotch and just the crotch of all of my pants would wear out and I'd have to buy new pants. Now, I'm getting new problems where the buttons of my pants are falling off before six months of owning a pair of pants. And this appears to happen regardless of the fit/cut. Now that I'm nearly 30, it's becoming really embarrassing that I own like three pieces of clothing because nothing I own lasts long enough for me to get around to buying a new piece of clothing.

Because of my job, I need a pair of unobtrusive black pants that aren't jeans or sweats. I would like to buy 5-6 pairs of pants just so that I have a whole week of work clothes on deck. Any other feature is a bonus. I just need some pants that won't disintegrate on contact with (frankly, very mild) manual labor.
