Ive been changing over my seasonal tires myself for years. I never re-torque them. I know all tire places make you come back for a re-torque, but I’ve always assumed it’s just for liability. Is this BS? Have I been living on the edge for years without re-torquing? I’m not a mechanic and not very handy

Didn’t get a chance to drive down yesterday, would like to check it out today if still there.
