Sorry if the title phrasing is a bit off

I've recently had a change of mindset and have wanted to make a difference to my lifestyle to better myself and make myself more happy with what I see in the mirror!

That being said, I've done some research already so I know consistency in diet and active habits are a must when deciding to lose weight but I'm unsure of where exactly to start that's good for me as the answers I've found online seem to vary.

My current diet has me on a 1300—1400 calorie maximum. I atleast know I need to eat less calories then I'm burning, and being inactive for most of the day I know I shouldnt eating much but I shouldnt be starving myself.

I used to be an avid (sometimes emotional) eater that never bothered to look at the calories I consumed so I dont know how many calories exactly I was consuming but I know it was well over the needed amount.

Ontop of the Deficit (I've been on it for about 5 days now) Ive done a few at home workout routines to tone lower body which is;

4x10 Squats w/ 25lb dumbell 4x10 Hip thrusts w/ 10lb weight held at the hip 4x10 Lunges alternating between both legs

Stretching before and after, small break between each set to get the blood flowing/prevent cramping

(On light days I'll do about half of that)

I dont know if I'm starting with too much but I have really been enjoying the burn I've felt doing these every other day

Though, I'm starting to wonder, should I be eating more calories since I'm beginning to work out? If so, what amount?

I do also know things like this are different for everyone so I'm going to list a few details about myself to hopefully be able to get a clearer answer

19 F 180—185lbs 5'5 in height

My days outside of my workout routine consist of mostly sitting, standing, and maybe some light walking

My first goal is to lose 10lbs then ultimately get down to 150lbs!!!

Thank you for your time reading this, I appreciate any and all help/advice you can offer!!
