Hey everyone, I’ve recently had my fifth cervical screening which has showed that I am still HPV+. My first two screenings resulted in referrals for colposcopy due to abnormal cells being picked up - biopsies were taken both times but I didn’t require any treatment. Next two follow up screening were still HPV+ but no abnormal cells so I was hopeful the HPV would just go in its own time, but this time I’m once again being referred back to the hospital as I still have HPV and the abnormal cells have come back. Has anyone else been in a similar situation like this before? I don’t know anyone else who has had abnormal screenings let alone five so it’s a bit isolating.
