Pet memorial question
This feels like a strange request, but I’m throwing it out here anyways, as much as I wish it wasn’t that time.
My dog Juno is nearing the end of her life, and we’ve made a vet appointment to have her put down two weeks from now. She’s been my best friend since I was 16, and I’m devastated at the thought of not having her with me anymore.
I collect oddities, and would adore having her skull & bones to memorialize and remember her by, but I don’t have the heart + guts to do it myself.
Ideally, I’d find someone interested in processing her body themselves, and I could pay them for it. That seems like even more of a long shot though
Alternatively I’m looking for dermestid beetles to clean her body to a point I could handle interacting with it
