I just went to talk to my vet about getting my pup started on seizure meds. He was only having them once every few months but he’s had 5 since January and they’re increasing in severity. He recommended vitamin E but he said 800 IU twice a day! That seems beyond excessive for a 15 lb dog… especially since humans are only 400 IU. I’m worried about vit e toxicity at that level!

A quick google search is saying like 15 IU for a dog his size. What are your doses like?

(I’ll get a second opinion from my main vet I’m just curious what everyone else is doing)
