[TOMT][BOOK] YA Book about a girl reluctantly solving a mystery
I can't recall many details about the book itself, just that I believe it was YA book following a teenage girl with some kind of power I think she was using to solve some kind of crime. I think it was the first in a series, with a bit of a darker tone.
The only things I remember about it are two specific moments. At one point, the main character was walking home from a party she didn't enjoy while barefoot, and a male character that would eventually become her friend helped her by letting her ride his skateboard, pulling her along, so she wouldn't have to walk barefoot.
The other moment was that she needed to talk to said male friend, who was currently was faking being in a relationship with another girl to try go gather information. That girl thought the main character was interested in her "boyfriend" and was acting really clingy to try to get a reaction out of the main character.
