I’m preparing a patch for my band doing “More Than A Feeling” and struggling to make the harmonizer sound balanced and “real”. Either the effect is louder than the main line, or it starts to sound distorted and glitchy when I bring the “mix” setting down. Any tips on which harmoinzer works better for you (legacy smart harmony is what’s in my patch) or, more importantly, where to put it in the chain? Tried it both before and after the amp, with a compressor in front, and really not able to dial it in well.

Been watching this sub for a while and thought I would add mine to the mix. My 2008 CT6 in Dragonburst (a rare choice at the time, wasn’t “official”), my 2012 CS4 in Honeyburst (was broke and couldn’t afford the flame top at the time, but I love how the grain came out), and newest edition last year of my CT6 with the trem instead of fixed bridge. I can’t get enough of that model, love that carved top series.
Got my first Carvin way back in 1992, want to say it was a DC-145 in Pearl Blue, was an amazing guitar. Kick myself for selling it back in 2005 when we moved cross country but I’d gone through a time of not playing so didn’t make sense to bring it on the big move. Regretted it quickly and started playing again a couple years after we moved, hence the 2008 Carvin.
Anyway, love the sub and seeing all of your beautiful Carvins and Kiesels! Rock on 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻
