Tankless Water Heater - sediment won't stop

Please help - I recently installed a salt-based water softening system, and flushed my Ecosmart 27 tankless water heater. Now I'm not getting the calcium white sediment, but instead non-stop tiny red sediment. It's to the point that we can only get a few showers in before we have to take apart the mixer cartridge and clean it. I'm getting tired of taking it all apart! How can I stop the red sediment!

Hi everyone,

I'm losing my mind. I have flushed the electric water heater multiple times, removed the elements and cleaned them (they are spotless). The water direct from the hot water service valve is great pressure. I have taken apart the shower cartridge multiple times and flushed the lines (lots of fun for my kids to watch). I'll get one good shower in, then it's back to navy showers the next day.

Could it be anything else? Is there something I'm missing? Wife is worried there's a blockage or leak in the hot water supply somewhere up the line.

Stupid question - going to the Ventura Raceway for the first time for the flat track motorcycles - what is the best way to get there? I've been to the fairgrounds several times, do I need to walk through the fairgrounds? Or is there a gate near Garden St?

ETA the person I'm going with wants to park at C-street garage and walk.

All this posts about opening main to cars, but I don't see any posts or comments from anyone who lives there. Anyone on this sub live in the apartments over the shops on main? Or work in the offices?

I oppose the premise that the only metric of main street is the success of the retail and restaurants.

ETA: Anyone who lives in the closure area want to respond? From what I can tell, nearly every downtown closure area building has a 2nd floor with apartments. Lots of responses from people who work downtown in non-retail, but my basic premise is that the measure of common spaces is not just their economic output.
