
Just a tidbit I worked out because I was curious. I'm in the US, and average fuel economy jumps in about 0.3 MPG steps. I figured the raw values would be easily capable of measuring to ±0.1 MPG, especially when I've run a whole tank through it. Then I thought, it's a European car, maybe it uses L/100 km. Sure enough, if I go in steps of 0.1 L/100 km, convert to MPG, then round down to one decimal, I see the same step sizes as on my display.
