Help with “Littermate Syndrome”!
Hi friends! This is Pippi Longstocking, she is 17 months old and our second Cav. We love her more than life.
Recently, through a series of events we were put in contact with a woman who has previously bred Cav’s for approx 15 years. She has fallen on very hard times with her house burning down (including all of her dog “things”) and has two litters currently that need rehoming quickly as she’s staying with a friend and they don’t have the necessary space.
We are definitely adopting one of the boys but are strongly considering also adopting one of the girls as we absolutely hate the position they are now in and desperately want to provide them with an amazing life.
The issue is, the internet has terrified us about Littermate Syndrome.
Does anyone have experience with raising two Cav puppies at the same time? Any and all advice/comments are welcomed. We have to decide by tomorrow! (It’s Sunday now).
