Typically, spaces like shopping malls (or other social spaces) feel relaxing. There are lots of people, lights, and music, but what if all these qualities turn into anxiety? I call this the **shopping mall effect**. It's a fear of places with lots of people and noise, or, conversely, a fear of empty spaces where there should be more people.
