I enjoy dark romance as a genre, but I'm new to it when we talk about books. The only dark romance book I have read is God of Fury, really enjoyed it, but looking for something straight this time. I'm not a huge fan of FMCs who are bland and just there for the romance, I prefer it when they have their own set of skills, talents, and character...A person who can fend for themselves, but once in a while need help...I like a bit of protectiveness and dominance from the MMC (maybe a bit of a tease too)....any reccs?
