Posting this for other pet parents in Bangalore.
I recently boarded my two cats at Meow Inn by Paws&Co for five days. During the drop-off I also provided my cats' usual dry kibble mix plus a few packs of their favorite treats. I was told they’d get isolated feeding time daily, but none of the subsequent daily video updates showed them eating. The treats were finished, but I only saw one video of one of my cats eating a treat, and that too just an hour before pickup. At pickup, I noticed the dry kibble pack was barely touched.
What bothered me most is that I was never informed they weren’t eating properly. I could have suggested changes to help with their feeding.
At pickup, even though I had requested they be placed in their carrier, I found them huddled on a shelf and had to put them in myself. The staff seemed unable to handle them, even though my cats aren’t aggressive.
There was also a strong smell of cat urine when I entered the reception. I initially ignored it, but once I got home I realized my cats themselves smelled of urine from head to tail. They are well litter-trained and have never had such issues before, so this was quite concerning from a hygiene standpoint.
Overall, what stood out was a lack of accountability. The owner and staff often gave inconsistent or conflicting information, which made communication frustrating and unreliable.
When I dropped a review on Google highlighting these issues, there was a sudden flood of new positive reviews on their Google profile. Many of them specifically highlighted cleanliness and feeding routines, which were exactly the issues I had faced. Quite a few also read like they were templated or AI-generated, including repeated use of em dashes and very similar phrasing.
I chose this place based on positive reviews, but my cats came back stressed and neglected. Sharing this so others can make an informed decision. If you do board here, I’d strongly suggest closely monitoring your pet’s feeding and overall condition.
