Hi to all who have run the Great Ocean Road Marathon. I'm running it next week and have no idea how hard it will be to drive back. Can anyone give me any insight? We are staying in Aireys Inlet so my family is dropping me off in Lorne then driving to Apollo Bay.

The website says to drive south and go back up to Colac but this becomes a 170km drive as the roads are closed until 3:30.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
