Here is everything I have from VS and their sub/partner labels since I started with Flesh For Frankenstein a few years ago. Wanted to take a step-back look at everything I have so far before it grows any larger. Looking for recommendations within the collection and in general. Favorites are Existenz and Santo vs Dr. Death. I’m fresh off of watching Intensive Care and thought it was fantastic. Love what they are doing with the Reviver line but haven’t gotten to them yet. Excited to dig into the Euro set as well
Enjoyed all the partner stuff. Mister Lonely is another favorite, and the films from Deaf Crocodile were stunning. That Heroic Times animation is something else. I saw Taming The Garden, Hundreds of Beavers, Mami Wata, and Robinson’s Garden in theaters, and we screened Sweet Sweetbacks Baadasssss Song and Shanghai Triad in film school so those experiences prompted me collect those. The diversity among these titles amazes me but I love all cinema almost equally.
