Notion Back and Forth

Does anyon find themselves in a love hate relationship with notion?

I've found my self back and forward so much I just can't seem to stick a piece of planning software out.

  1. used Microsoft planner, it was great when I tried to organise my own workload only on that but felt like my team never used it the same way I did. So it fell flat.

  2. switched to notion, made a second brain, tried to plan my team's workload in there and got overwhelmed by how much I physically had to do and so many sub section of my Para dashboard.

Found some jobs made It into notion, some stuck inside flagged outlook emails.

  1. moved back to Microsoft to do using planned for big projects, tasks for small jobs and now I'm finding flagged emails don't get missed, but I feel like I'm less likely to drop personal tasks on here. I'm also missing the customisation and beauty which notion brought...

  2. now I'm thinking about a simplified notion setup with outlook integration for flagged emails. I honestly feel like a yoyo!

What's your relationship like with notion? Do you use it as a fully functional second brain / task management software, or something else?
