CDF Drum cost, warranty, goodwill assistance?
I believe I am experiencing early stages of CDF drum failure, I brought it into dealership a couple weeks ago and they said my trans fluid was overfilled and found metal shavings shavings in it, they said everything was running fine. Which it was for 2 days, then I started experiencing hard shifts and flares again. I’m bringing it back to dealership next week to check it again. Does anyone have success at getting goodwill assistance to pay for most if not all of the repair if they deem it is the CDF drum? I am 11,000 outside the factory powertrain warranty. If they do not deem it is the CDF drum and say everything is fine, would I be able to get PremiumCare and if the issue gets worse and they do deem it is the CDF drum, will that cover it? Thanks.
