I made a post recently on if anyone had any experience with hauling ATV’s in the pans of their rangers. I didn’t get much feedback, so I borrowed a buddies set of ramps and tried it for myself. Overall, the bike fit perfectly between the wheel wells, but was just too long and I wouldn’t risk the weight on the tailgate going over rough roads. I think a single seater ATV would fit perfectly fine as the wheelbase is shorter.

I have a 25 Ranger XLT and just bought a 21 outlander 850 max xt. I haven’t bought a trailer yet (planning on it) but in the mean time I was wondering if I can haul it around in the bed. I measured the bike from front bumper to rear wheel, and put in the bed it would still be about 10 inches from the end of the tailgate, and width isn’t an issue. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with towing a ATV’s in the bed of their rangers or if I should just wait until I purchase a trailer.
