Journaling is very important, and so many times I want to skip it, especially when I lose a trade but I mean it's crucial if you actually want to be disciplined.

When you break you own rules in the moment, do you know you're doing it? Or does it only become obvious in hindsight? I feel like always after I take a trade, I feel so stupid but in the moment, it looks good.
