Hey everyone,
I found two very old Robinson Crusoe books some time ago. Together they contain volumes 1 to 4, bound into two books.
What really caught my attention is the printer’s mark on the title page. Most of the “officially known” editions I could find online seem to use a coat of arms, while my copies instead show a globe / armillary sphere device.
I’ve been trying to research this specific mark but can barely find anything about it online, so I was wondering if anyone here recognizes this variant or knows anything about the printer’s device.
I’d also be curious if these books might have any significant collector value today.
I’ll attach some pictures, maybe someone spots something interesting :)
