Hi! I’m possibly buying an apartment in Dubai and the seller is being extremely difficult about adding any clauses to the MoU. As it stands, if the apartment caught fire between the moment we sign the MoU and the moment we get the keys, they would not be liable for fixing anything and I wouldn’t be able to back out of the transaction without losing my deposit. Is this indeed the case? The seller doesn’t even have insurance.
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of problem? Really appreciate any help!
