EDIT: I fixed it! I was using the power cable from the Mercury curing station and it didnt have the power necessary for the Mars UV light to turn on.

complete beginner, Im losing my mind and running out of options

Things ive tried:

-Yes, I've removed all the protective plastic sheets

-increased exposure time in the slicer to 60 and 8

-got the fermentation belt

-run calibration and self test many times

Even the chess piece doesnt want to print. I just don't understand. My only theory is the screen doesnt work because it doesnt turn UV purple when running the tests, but I haven't seen any Mars 5 do that when watching youtube tutorials anyway so I don't know what to do anymore
