Seeking advice: 3rd Generation Jure Sanguinis (Tajani Law) - Strategy and Lawyer recommendations

Hello everyone, I’m looking for opinions on my current situation regarding Italian citizenship by descent.

To clarify the generational steps for my case:

Avo (Great-grandfather): Born in Italy, never naturalized.

Grandfather: Born in Argentina (deceased).

Mother: Born in Argentina (1951).

Me: Born in 1985.

The only documentary evidence I have showing previous intent to find my roots prior to the new regulations is from a search I did in 2022. However, that search was on my paternal side and ended up being a dead end.

My mother is currently alive and could potentially be recognized via the consulate. She is willing to join a lawsuit with me if it helps strengthen the legal strategy.

My questions are:

Do you recommend any specific law firm or group of lawyers for this exact scenario?

Has anyone been in a similar situation regarding the generational cutoff or using a different family line as proof of prior intent?

An Argentine lawyer is advising me to finish putting my folder together (translations and apostilles) as soon as possible. His argument is that there is hope the June 9th ruling will allow me to move forward, and I shouldn't delay because the system will get completely bottlenecked afterwards. However, I am extremely hesitant to make this significant financial investment right now if the documents might expire and end up being worthless. What is the consensus on this risk?

Any advice is appreciated.
