Hey guys, as the title mentions I'll be heading to grad school in a few months. There's this entry-level auditing job I'm really interested in and I got an interview but I don't know how to disclose that I'll be going to school and will only be able to work for 3.5 months in-person at the max.
Should I just ask if I can work remotely at the end of the interview if the topic of my future plans never comes up? I know I'm basically blowing up my chances to get the job but I feel really icky not telling them, especially since it's a small company in my town and I might want to work there again in the future so I don't want to burn bridges.
Also I already signed my lease and committed to the school, so I can't back out of that. It's in a different state so hybrid would not be an option, it would need to be fully remote and I would likely have to cut back on my hours.
I honestly should have thought things through and not applied but I'm holding out hope things might work out in my favor.
Any advice would be appreciated!
