Hi folks, I got the offer letter from capgemini yesterday and my joining is on 14th may at Talawade, Pune location. Can we change location to hinjewadi phase 3 after induction? I am joining as a Test automation engineer.
Got laid off on April 1st after 4 years as a QA automation engineer. The last month was mentally very rough with anxiety, overthinking, and constantly seeing layoff/hiring freeze news everywhere.
I recently got an offer from Capgemini after a month of being unemployed, so I should feel relieved, but honestly I still feel scared and mentally exhausted. Every time I see more tech layoff news, the fear comes back and I keep thinking what if it happens again?
Anyone else went through this after a layoff? How did you recover mentally and regain confidence?
