So I’ve been trying Submithub for the first time prior to the release of my second Spotify release. I’ve been getting a lot of rejections from more energetic/festival EDM playlist curators with feedback like “great production and songwriting but a bit too chill for our playlist. On the flip side, I’ve been getting rejections from more ambient/experimental playlist curators with feedback that says “the production and songwriting are great but the song is a bit too energetic with vocals that are too pop-y” Has anyone had similar experiences and if so were you able to find your lane on Submithub? Is Submithub just not a good place for middle lane songs like this?
