Buying a property with "as is, where is" in the contract
I've found the perfect house for me in Sydney. It's a newly built duplex. Just got the contract - it's a bank repossession (first red flag?) then i notice the contract says "as is, where is", and the builder who has certified some of the waterproofing, etc., i looked him up and he's been "banned for life for fraud" by the NSW Master builders association. Would you bother getting this inspected or run like hell?
