2 replacement parts later, I have to send my Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum back for repairs. Any similar experiences?
My vacuum's power was stuttering on and off as I used it on carpet. Dyson thought to replace the Main Body, and sent me a new one. The issue persisted, then they sent a new Battery. Now the battery takes way longer than 5 hours for a complete charge. I also can't vacuum my whole house on a full charge, as it usually takes about 1 hour. Dyson says a full battery only lasts about 40 minutes.
The vacuum is still under warranty so the replacement parts and repair are all covered thankfully. I can't complain about their customer service either as it's been easy and helpful. However with more and more issues, I'm looking at other cordless vacuums that are more affordable and durable.
Anyone have similar experiences or can share their recommendations? Thanks.
