Is public health care a joke in Mauritius? I went to victoria hospital earlier because I “sprained” my ankle on Friday from a fall and I’m not able to walk or even stand for less than a minute or else I get excruciating pain, it even travels up to the knee.
They only made me do an X-ray and sent me home with panadol and ibuprofen. Didn’t even check for a sprain..only said “pan gagne nanyier” while I’m clearly limping and can’t even walk.
Edit: my ankle is swollen and bruised
