Redness Won’t Go Away
I started with some seb derm on my face January of this year. It progressively got worse, I started off treating it with Nizoral, then recently switched to 2% zinc pyrithione soap. The seb derm has been better, but I definitely have destroyed my skin barrier, my skin on my face is super dry. I am still getting flaking, and dead skin. I have been using dermgentle fungal safe moisturizing cream on my face, and while it helps, I cannot get the redness on my face to go away. I am using zinc soap once every 5 days, and my face around my eyes, forehead and cheeks are just intensely red. The redness is typically worse in the morning. I am very frustrated with this, and am looking for some guidance. I think my skin is too irritated for azelic acid. I went to a dermatologist, and they were of no help unfortunately.
